Workshop - Tanz auf Kufen

In the organizer's words:

We share methods, exercises, improvisation ideas and choreographies from the IceLab Company.

In the workshop you can get to know or deepen how we work and dance in the IceLab. The workshop will be taught by Maria and Laura from the IceLab Company. The workshop always takes place on the first Monday of the month.

• Please register at least 3 hours before the start of the course (15:00).
• The course takes place with a minimum of 4 participants.
• Skates can be hired for 5 euros.

IMPORTANT: The course is for people who enjoy creative methods, improvisation and contemporary skating.

It is suitable for all levels, beginners to professionals. Previous experience on skates or in dance is helpful but not necessary.

ATTENTION:

The workshop may not be suitable for you if you actually want to learn figure skating or skating technique. In that case, you might prefer to attend our dedicated technique classes :)

About Maria:

Maria Wohlfarth is a dance teacher and dancer, since 2023 for IceLab Leipzig. She brings approaches from her work as a yoga teacher and holistic bodywork to the ice.

Laura is a dancer and choreographer in Leipzig. She has been working with the IceLab for over 4 years and leads the IceLab Company.
