V01CES//B0D1EZ after Hans Werner Henze and Piyawat Louilarpprasert

"V01CES//B0D1EZ" is the musical encounter between the two composers Piyawat Louilarpprasert and Hans Werner Henze, the founder of the Munich Biennale, who would have celebrated his 100th birthday in 2026.

As part of this new music theater production, the Munich Biennale is offering a format to accompany rehearsals. Participants can gain insights into the creative process and explore the questions that the production and the composer are also dealing with: What work are we doing? Do we repeat ourselves? Why do we do what we do? The format includes a workshop as well as a visit to a rehearsal and the premiere.

The workshop opens with a keynote speech on the transformation of work in the field of tension between people, technology and meaning. Discuss with Alexander Nusselt (digital transformation expert and coach) how digitalization and AI are changing the way we work. Afterwards, you will gain exclusive insights into the production process during a joint rehearsal visit. Afterwards, we invite you to a personal exchange with the participating artists and Alexander Nusselt. Deepen your impressions by attending the premiere and experience musical theater with a new perspective.
