X roid - Int'l Instant Art Expo in Bonn

The "X roid - Int'l Instant Art Expo" brings the fascinating world of instant photography to Bonn. Over 150 original Polaroids and Fuji Instax works by 43 artists from a total of 11 countries - including Italy, France, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Poland, the USA and Hong Kong - will be presented in The Stage Gallery.

The exhibition shows the entire spectrum of instant art: from spontaneous snapshots to staged visual worlds and experimental approaches on analog instant film. Each work is unique - direct, unadulterated and without digital post-processing.

Many of the participating artists are on site in person and provide insights into their working methods and the stories behind their pictures.

"X roid" is the only exhibition of its kind in Germany and is being organized in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute Cologne.
