A conversation between the generations: Tender and strong melodies combine with German-Turkish contemporary witnesses' voices and film material to form an important part of female remembrance culture.

Emine Ulusen, Evgenia Karakolidis and Anayurt Kırımli belonged to the first generation of guest workers who spent most of their lives at the BMW plant in Munich, where they experienced times of speechlessness and exhaustion. They are Yoldaş - friends and companions. The singer Nihan Devecioğlu grew up as the granddaughter of workers of Turkish origin in the vicinity of the plant. In "Yoldaş", she creates a space for memories - in touching compositions, factory sounds, women's voices and documentary film footage. A collage of self-empowerment and female solidarity across generations in German and Turkish.
