A mediocre comedian searches for the perfect joke - and finds the beauty of comic chaos and happy pointlessness.
In HA HA HA HI!, a mediocre comedian tries to tell a life-changing joke. However, he doesn't have the right words or the right microphone setup for a real breakthrough. As he wrestles with his shortcomings, he surrenders to absurdity and uses every tool at his disposal to create comic moments of folly. The solo performance HA HA HA HI! combines dance, circus, physical comedy and object manipulation. It celebrates the art of joking, joyful silliness, raw humor, comic chaos and the beauty of happy futility. It transports the audience into a world where minimalism meets eccentricity and playful silliness becomes profound. With his latest solo performance, Felix Baumann continues his work on the theme of BODY, COMIC & MATERIAL and devotes himself to humor as a choreographic, aesthetic and political tool of cultural practice.
