Room 248, with balcony - an evening between absurd humor and deadly seriousness, brutality and tenderness. Director Violetta von der Heydt and composer Christoph Maria Wagner take a new look at cult author Charles Bukowski with excellent actors and five instrumentalists - who was actually vulnerable, melancholy and terribly sentimental, who loved classical music and couldn't stand rock music. His image of a society that only knows winners and doesn't care about the losers is more relevant than ever. Amidst love affairs, poetry readings and rants, a drama of human existence unfolds, at the end of which "Master Death" inevitably stands.
