The Kumede is back! The cult Cologne ensemble will be back in May for its next prank - full of wit, heart and the best Cologne humor! It's going to be glamorous at the Volksbühne am Rudolfplatz, the legendary former Millowitsch Theater.

Cologne 2026: A grand charity gala is to take place in the magnificent luxury Grand Hotel Excelsior - with the two most famous stage stars of our time: the world-famous singer Rose Mayfield (née Rosi "Röschen" Merten from Cologne-Weidenpesch) and the actress-diva Bernadette Davis (née Billa Dahmen from Cologne-Merkenich).

They were once best friends, went to New York together and launched dream careers there. But their former affection turned into furious rivalry: their legendary quarrels, in which shreds fly loudly, regularly fill the tabloids. A meeting between these two divas? Unimaginable.

But hotel manager Wupperfeld is convinced that in a luxury hotel like the Excelsior, this can easily be avoided. The gala is perfectly planned - until a serious misunderstanding throws everything out of kilter and the situation spirals out of control: doors slam, egos explode - and the charming madness takes its course.
