The world is changing rapidly - technologically, socially and ecologically. In the midst of this dynamic, children are facing challenges that we are often unable to fully grasp today. This is about more than digital tools or new teaching and learning methods - it is about values, relationships and the question of how learning can be experienced as a lively, meaningful process. How do we prepare young people for a future that will be characterized by artificial intelligence, global networking and profound social upheaval? And what do they need now to be able to develop confidently, creatively and resiliently in this world?
Our event invites you to think together about the future of learning. Experts from science and practice will discuss how learning spaces need to be designed so that children not only acquire knowledge, but also develop skills that enable them to contribute to the world of tomorrow with courage, optimism, empathy and creative power. What does educational equity mean in the digital age? How can schools become social learning spaces that encourage curiosity and motivation? What role do parents, educators and society as a whole play in this? In discussion:
Prof. Dr. Ulrich Trautwein, Professor of Empirical Educational Research at the University of Tübingen and member of the Board of Trustees of the Kinderland Foundation
Fatima Gholami, scholarship holder of our student scholarship for fair educational opportunities Talent in the country
Esmeralda Temizyüz, press spokesperson and deputy member of the 16th state student advisory board for vocational colleges, vocational high schools and vocational grammar schools in the administrative district of Stuttgart
Science journalist Jan-Martin Wiarda will moderate the discussion.
