Reading & Release
Under the motto "What if there was a tomorrow...?", the literary future calendar#2 brings together 14 spectacular texts by young authors who imagine the future in the years 2031 to 2187. On this evening, join authors Julia Dorsch, Sofie Soujon, Tobias Schulenburg, Josephine Ziegler, July Arbol and Corinne Riepert in apocalypse sandstorms in the name of the future, hear about the disappearance of words, travel to seemingly perfect worlds and connect your brains in Centra Culleora....
Afterwards, we invite you to talk to the authors and editors of the Future Calendar over a glass of sparkling wine or juice.
What is the Future Calendar?
The Future Calendar is a new form of reading, anthology and wall calendar in one, combining literature at its best and a design that makes it worthy of hanging on your wall for the rest of your life. The future stories range from the year 2031 to the year 2187. In the Future Calendar, young authors publish their forward-looking texts, each of which is set in a specific year in the future. The Future Calendar thus sees itself as a contribution to playfully practicing thinking about the distant future in everyday life and exchanging different ideas about the future.
