Clothes swap festival in the Kulturbunker

Clothes swap, workshops, repair café and more!

Did you know that around 160 billion items of clothing were sold worldwide in 2020? In Germany, almost a fifth of these remain unworn in the wardrobe - a huge mountain of textiles that ekes out a silent existence in the dark. Time to change that!

Free your favorite unworn items and bring them to the clothes swap - for more sustainability and a breath of fresh air in your closet!

What you can expect:

👚 Clothes swap
Swap your unworn clothes for new favorites! Bring up to 5 clean items in good condition and take what you like. No money - just style and fun!

🧵 Workshops (from 11:30) To the schedule
At our workshops (on a donation basis) you can discover and try out new craft skills.

🛠️ Repair corner (1 - 6 pm)
Learn how to save your broken jeans, sew buttons back on or breathe new life into old clothes. Together with our friends from LeihBar and Wir im Nordquartier, we'll show you how it's done. Simple, practical and sustainable.

🎨 Screen printing station (1 - 6 pm)
Our friends from Greenpeace will show you how you can redesign old textiles with fresh colors and cool motifs.

🧶 Wool exchange (1 - 6 pm)
Swap wool and tools from your knitting & crochet projects.

🍹 Drinks & snacks
The Toré will provide you with delicious drinks and snacks. Perfect for a creative break in between before you browse through the clothes racks for a second round.
