Between light and silence - a Japanese evening

The current exhibition Future Horizons provides an exciting insight into the diversity of the Foundation's collection of contemporary glass. A special focus is on artistic positions from Asia. The evening will focus on eleven glass works by Japanese artists, inviting visitors to take a closer look. In a dialogical guided tour, Katharina Wenkler and Masami Hirohata - former artist and child scholarship holder of the Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung with Japanese roots - will talk about the common characteristics of the works and place them in the broad context of contemporary Japanese glass. Afterwards, the evening will end in a relaxed atmosphere with authentic Japanese finger food, a sip of sake and traditional Japanese music.
