At the "denk.mal Hannoverscher Bahnhof" memorial site, 20 plaques commemorate the names of more than 8,000 Jews, Sintizze and Sinti as well as Romnja and Roma who were deported from Hamburg between 1940 and 1945. The "Info Pavilion" with a small exhibition is located on Lohseplatz. From 2026, a documentation center developed by the Hamburg Memorials and Learning Sites Foundation will embed the fate of the deportees in the history of National Socialist persecution.
