The FABRIK in Hamburg, founded in 1971, is the oldest and probably best-known cultural and communication center in Europe and has served as a model for many institutions internationally. During the day, free digital skills training for adults, older people and young people takes place here in the media workshop. In the evenings, there is a wide range of cultural, international events, from a stylistically diverse, cross-genre musical concert program to readings, theater performances, children's events, markets and discussions on current political issues, as well as dance events and festivals.
