THE FELSENKELLER: a landmark, a place of memories, dreams and expectations! Long wrapped in a deep sleep, we kiss the old lady awake and breathe new life into her. Now, over the next few months, she will become what she has been for Leipzig for more than a century: a charming companion for unforgettable nights... As a space for cultural encounters, unusual art, great amazement, musical ecstasy - far beyond the very different scenes. Because the Lady Felsenkeller combines all of this in its interior: it finally offers classical music, wild beats, graceful dance, comic entertainment, glittering variety shows and much more an adequate home in the lively west of Leipzig! As an operating company founded specifically for this purpose, we are using all our years of experience in the cultural and gastronomic sector to develop the Felsenkeller into a modern venue with character and history, which not only offers an incomparable setting for every conceivable event, but also the necessary technical, logistical and gastronomic structure. On the one hand, this beautiful building is to be made available to external event organizers, offering a special space for conferences, receptions or company celebrations, but on the other hand, it will gradually become a venue for a unique cultural mix ranging from concerts, cabaret and variety shows to balls and dinner shows. HISTORY The Felsenkeller - built not far from the historic site of the old cooling cellar of the brewer Carl Wilhelm Naumann according to plans by the renowned Leipzig architects Schmidt & Johlige in 1890 - was not only a place of entertainment culture, but was also an important meeting place for the strong workers' movement around the turn of the century before last. Liebknecht, Luxemburg, Zetkin, Thälmann - they all spoke in the Felsenkeller. During the GDR era, the building remained a cultural center, meeting hall and restaurant. It was the venue for dance school graduation balls, youth consecrations and graduation ceremonies. The Felsenkeller has been part of the local identity of at least three generations of Leipzig residents. After a brief career as a furniture store, it stood empty for a long time, but is now gradually being renovated and is once again an integral part of Leipzig's cultural life.

We will not publish or remove such events. We are in contact with the location and monitor the situation on an ongoing basis.

The Felsenkeller is also the venue for numerous concerts from the alternative and independent cultural scene that are relevant to Leipzig's cultural life. A blanket exclusion of the location on our platform would have an impact on many uninvolved organizers, artists and communities. That is why we are currently continuing to show selected events in the Felsenkeller. In the event of new findings, an accumulation of such incidents or a changed assessment, we will consistently restrict or suspend the listing.
