The house promotes integration, education and district cultural work and is a place for multinational encounters.

What is special about the Freizeitheim is that, unlike commercial event centers, it can offer low rental prices for non-profit groups and therefore hosts a wide range of non-commercial events. Over 70 groups from the fields of self-help, theater, dance, singing, some hobby groups, as well as intercultural and creative arts and crafts groups meet here every week. Political groups and parties as well as the Linden-Limmer district council also use the premises.
