The Markkleeberg Canoe Park is one of the most modern white water facilities in Europe and unique in Germany. The facility meets all the requirements for world championships and Olympic competitions in canoe slalom and kayak cross. International competitions, training sessions and recreational sports are equally at home here. There is also an integrated surf spot with two artificial waves. The Markkleeberg climbing park with facilities for adventure golf and soccer golf is located in the immediate vicinity.
