Techne Sphere Leipzig combines the crane manufacturer Techne Kirow, a public canteen and the Techne Sphere art space with changing exhibitions, a cultural program and much more. A sculptural building made of white concrete was added to a historic brick building according to plans by star architect Oscar Niemeyer. The Niemeyer Sphere is home to the Céu Dining restaurant (Portuguese for heaven), which serves light, original cuisine.
