The White House is the architectural adornment of the agra Park in Markkleeberg. It was built in 1896/97 by the newspaper publisher and royal Württemberg consul Paul Herfurth on the highest point of the park, inspired by the Versailles pleasure palace Petit Trianon.

The neo-baroque Hall of Mirrors in the White House is primarily used for classical concerts, while the second floor is mainly used for exhibitions, lectures and concerts. The exhibitions in the White House present works by renowned artists and promising talents from the region.

The summer theater on the terrace of the White House is very popular every year. In cooperation with the Blüthner Pianoforte Factory, the Blüthner Master Concerts are performed by top-class pianists.

Ansonsten öffnet das Weiße Haus nur bei Veranstaltungen für den Publikumsverkehr.
