Die Performance erweitert das fortlaufende Projekt Acoustic Horizon des Künstlers Özcan Ertek: ein rotierender, trichterförmiger Lautsprecher, der auf seine akustische und architektonische Umgebung reagiert. 

Für die Eröffnung der Ausstellung Relations in Place im Bärenzwinger entsteht eine ortsspezifische Version: Der Trichter wird live aktiviert und tritt in Dialog mit dem Ort. Das Werk reflektiert Fragen zur Ambivalenz von Nähe und Distanz, Körper und Raum, Handlungsmacht und Kontrolle.

The performance expands upon Özcan Ertek's ongoing Acoustic Horizon project: a rotating, funnel-shaped speaker that responds to its acoustic and architectural environment.

For the opening of Relations in Place at Bärenzwinger, a site-specific version of the piece will be activated live, engaging in dialogue with the space itself. The work reflects on the ambivalences of proximity and distance, body and space, agency and control.
