Lili Mare is an indie-folk singer-songwriter from a small suburb of Cologne. She grew up surrounded by nature, but also the dynamic energy of city life. These contrasting environments have strongly influenced her music, creating a soundscape that combines the tranquillity of the countryside with the vibrancy of the city. For her, writing is a process of closure - what is put into words and brought to the outside world no longer has to continue to have an live within her.

Stylistically, her music lies somewhere between Holly Humberstone, Maggie Rogers and Angie McMahon. She combines thoughtful lyrics with diverse musical roots, from folk to indie pop, and is characterized by guitar-driven melodies and soulful vocals.

Her 2nd EP 'The Light' will be released on April 11, 2025. This reflects a phase of her life in which she left Berlin to find herself again in her home country. The EP is an honest exploration of fears and doubts, the search for meaning and the support that friendships offer in difficult times. It marks the beginning of a more positive, self-confident phase in her life.
