4 pieces fusion of pulsating grooves, psychedelic soundscapes and raw jazz energy, blending progressive rock, classical elements and powerful basslines with bilingual lyrics for a unique, immersive sound.

CALAMITE is characterized by strong basslines and choir backings with French and English lyrics. They seamlessly fuse elements of sophisticated Progressive Rock, the Classical sonic language and the raw energie of Jazz.

Based on the musical influences of their members, CALAMITE synergistically interweave lyrics and music in their songs and explore musical boundaries across styles, using various effect pedals for flute and main vocals. This eclectic mix results in songs that are both innovative and deeply engaging, taking their listeners on a special musical journey.

Inspired by a longer tour through Senegal in 2022, Paul wrote songs for the freshly formed band CALAMITE in 2023, which they further refined collectively. In 2024 they released their first EP along with their singles “Traces” and “L’Infini Devant Moi”, both taken from the video production “Basement Session – Live”- The band is currently working on their first studio album, set to be released digitally and on vinyl in December 2025.
