Church Andrews & Matt Davies will present brand-new tracks from their upcoming album “Tilt” (out May 15th 2026), alongside other key works from their catalog, making this evening at biegungen im ausland a premier record release concert of the fantastic UK duo. The coolly controlled tracks of Andrews & Davies, created from live electronics and vibrant percussion, represent organic-electronic music at its finest. Andrews's accentuated synth sounds and Davies's outstanding drumming intertwine with precision, unfolding their multifaceted interplay. The duo's repertoire encompasses odd time signatures, finely chiseled beat structures, and alternative tunings.

Future folk performer and sound poet Dumama reinterprets South African musical traditions with her voice. Cellist Zeynep Ayşe Hatipoglu explores the sonic richness of her instrument. Bassist Sofia Eftichidou studied classical music in Athens before turning to jazz. The encounter of these three exceptional musicians promises an expressive performance that blends electroacoustic music with hypnotic nu jazz.
