gamut inc presents their first album for computer-controlled pipe organ, transforming Berlin‘s second largest instrument into a contemporary synthesizer — exploring overtone series, cascading canons and spectral transformations.

Since discovering the computer-controlled pipe organ in 2010, Berlin-based duo gamut inc (Maciej Śledziecki and  Marion Wörle) has dedicated their practice entirely to machine music. Over fifteen years, they’ve developed sophisticated algorithms and advanced MIDI techniques to unlock immersive sonic possibilities from acoustic pipe organs–transforming centuries-old instruments into contemporary synthesis engines. gamut inc has established themselves as pioneers of the New Organ Movement. Their work combines rigorous technical experimentation with the visceral power of pneumatic sound.

Radiating marks their first studio album for organ: a multi-layered exploration of overtone series, cascading canons, and spectral transformations. Recorded on Berlin’s second-largest organ at Auenkirche—recently updated to the newest technical specifications—the album presents densely woven acoustic textures that span the full gamut of frequency and expression.
