Tom arbeitet als Tennistrainer in einem All-Inclusive-Hotel auf Fuerteventura. Tom works as a tennis coach at an all-inclusive hotel in Fuerteventura. What at first glance seems like a dream of an endless summer has long since become a monotonous routine for the former pro. While tourists come and go in a never-ending stream, he hits hundreds of balls across the net week after week, filling the emptiness with fleeting affairs and alcohol. But then the mysterious Anne appears at the hotel. She, her husband Dave, and their seven-year-old son Anton don't fit the image of typical package tourists. The island of Fuerteventura serves as a stunning backdrop for Jan-Ole Gerster's (OH BOY) thriller that portrays the sunny side of vacation... until shadows begin to appear. The cast of semi-famous international actors is in a playful mood, and Sam Riley (CONTROL) delivers as a multifaceted character with whom one becomes invested surprisingly quickly.
