LA RONY is a Berlin based Neo-soul singer-songwriter whose songs are described as soulful, jazzy and based on heartfelt lyrics. Her performances are a mix of female power vocals and touching groovy tunes.

Her passion for intimate lyrics and soulful vocals and her retro sound invokes names like Lauryn Hill, Amy Winehouse or Christina Aguilera.

Travelling the world and living in different countries and cultures, such as USA, Spain, South America and Africa, writing and playing music became her safe place and refuge.

2023 she won Berlin's youth songwriter competition "Jugend musiziert" and performed at Konzerthaus Berlin, Soundcloud Berlin and plays regularly at various venues in and outside of Berlin.

2024 German TV channel RTL made a documentary about her music in the format “Seitenwechsel” talking about Newcomers in Berlin and the daily struggle to survive as a upcoming artist in the music industry.

LA RONY has performed in cities like Valencia, Tel Aviv, New York and Berlin in various venues touching people with her honest music.

Their name is Lilac Attitude, and you better believe it! It’s not merely a name but a promise: to go ahead and follow your heart no matter the outcome. It’s basically how they approach their whole existence as a band. Just ask blasphemic environmentalists Jacky (keys, main vocals) & Daisy (guitar) who got with each other by drinking, spraying and showering themselves in cans of beer in a foreign church, and who started the band with musicologist flatmate Raku (bass) by getting gigs first and time to rehearse second. In the end, it was possibly the youngest and newest in the band, beatkeeper Squid (drums) who sets them straight on most days.

So, you see, Lilac Attitude is about fulfilling fantasies, about grabbing life by the «Syringa» and the outcome of their music is pretty much predetermined by their personalities, the sound is driven, grungy, rambunctious, pure and hopeful. «Floral Grunge» – they call it.
