LUKAS OSCAR is a rising singer, songwriter, and producer based in Vienna, known for his melancholic yet powerful voice and raw, emotionally honest songwriting. With Filipino roots and a natural affinity for music, he began playing piano at age six, inspired by his mother’s love of karaoke and the soulful stylings of Alicia Keys. By 14, he was experimenting with production, and by 17, writing andproducing for other artists between his hometown and Vienna. In 2020, Lukas co-wrote Tears Getting Sober, Bulgaria’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest, which received critical acclaim before the event was canceled due to the pandemic. He continued to evolve as an artist, releasing his debut EP Colors of A VOID in 2022—a raw and intimate exploration of emotional complexity through candid lyrics and soulful melodies. His debut album, The Fun Never Ends!, laid the foundation for his artistic identity. The record confronts themes of self-criticism, obsession, and existential pressure,blending multiple genres into pop with sharp lyricism and sonic experimentation. The Singles Bloodhound, High Performance Kid sand Life Keeps Flashing charted, helping cement his place as a bold new voice in the indie landscape. Tocelebrate the release, Lukas sold out his first headline show with a full band—an unforgettable milestone.In 2025, Lukas released the EP From Under My Bed, marking a shift toward amore lo-fi, intimate sound. The project was embraced by Spotify’s editorial team,landing him on the cover of Indie Brandneu and GLOW. The lead single Pretty Words charted and became a standout success, praised for its emotional directness and eerie, minimal production. The EP’s stripped-back, self-produced aesthetic introduced a new era of Lukas’s artistry—more personal, raw, andfearless. Now, Lukas is entering a new chapter. His second full-length album—set forrelease in January 2026—builds on his signature introspection while embracing contradiction: spacey textures meet chaotic beats, honest lyrics meet summereuphoria, spontaneity meets precision. The result is his boldest and most expansivework to date.
