Neon Electric Muses - Outboard gear lab & demo concert night
On November the 28th, we’ll get into the second appointment of Neon Electric Muses, a platform and event series taking place at Block1 (Gaswerksiedlung Berlin) and organised by Room of Kairos, Fatima Camara  and Gaswerk Music Days.

“Neon Electric Muses is a living concept shaped by feminine souls and open to everybody.
As a space of exchange, connections and empowerment, it provides an open laboratory and music showcase, hands-on experiences, insights into personal creative processes, and deep dives into various tools and techniques with a focus on outboard gear. With every session, artists and educators of different circles, levels, technical approaches, and musical genres connect and explore FLINTA-driven and inspired processes and practices.”

In this second session of Neon Electric Muses, we host a 2 hours workshop with educator and musician Jacq Noise. Jacky brings her modular rack, the Bullfrog synths and some drum computer to the stage and introduces the topics of subtractive synthesis and power of modulation. Later on we dive into live performance and find the balance of frequencies.

Doors open at 20.00 and from 21.00 Dumama and Natalia Escobar will share their performance set ups – focusing on how they integrate some of their favourite gear into their creative processes. This open space will include a talk, Q&A, demo concert and possible collective performance. Elle Kai closes the night with an experimental DJ set. 

We look forward to this second appointment and to further shaping this new concept together with guest artists and participants alike!

DUMAMA (Future Folk) // Talk and Play
Gugulethu Duma, known as Dumama, is a South African musician, composer, and sonic poet from the Eastern Cape. Her work explores African performance traditions through experimental, electronic-infused storytelling. Using voice, uHadi, loops, and field recordings, she bridges oral heritage with future-focused soundscapes. She released buffering juju with dumama + kechou in 2020 to international acclaim. Her solo debut, Towards an Expanse, to be co-released in 2026 by Mushroom Hour and New Soil, features global collaborations and production by Nandi Ndlovu and Dion Monti.

NATALIA ESCOBAR (Electronic Storytelling) // / Talk and Play
Natalia Escobar is a Colombian interdisciplinary artist whose practice encompasses moving images, sound, performance, and installations. Her pieces address themes such as Andean phenomenology, identity, the oneiric, and memory. Her work has been exhibited at prestigious venues including the Museo Nacional in Bogotá, HKW and Berlinesche Galerie in Berlin, CCD in Mexico City, and La Casa Encendida in Madrid. Escobar's live and DJ sets blend various genres and styles into captivating sonic narratives. Each set becomes a rich landscape of sound, intricately woven with storytelling and emotional resonance, mirroring the depth of her artistic vision. She has performed at renowned venues and events including Saüle am Berghain, Bayo, Neue National Galerie, Kiezsalon, Funkhaus, Madeira Dig, Syn/cussion Festival, and She Makes Noise Festival, among others.

Elle Kai (Experimental) // DJ Set
Letizia Trussi, aka Elle Kai, is a Berlin-based Italian singer and curator whose practice moves between experimental live performance and adventurous sound curation. As founder of Rooms of Kairos and creative director of Gaswerksiedlung Berlin, she has curates exhibitions, concert series and Gaswerk Music Days festival. As a vocalist, Elle Kai collaborates with Canadian artist Deadbeat in the Ark Welders Guild, a project blending AI-driven visuals, cinematic journeys and polyrhythmic psychedelia. Expanding from voice into the decks, she now shares her music knowledge through DJ sets ranging from ambient to experimental electronics. Elle Kai is also the initiator of Neon Electric Muses, where in its second edition she unveils her most nuanced selection of slow, rusty techno and dub-driven tracks.
