Totenpicknick is a heartfelt gathering dedicated to honouring those who have passed. This annual event, hosted by Music Ashram, invites participants to share their stories, memories, and emotions in a communal setting. Through music and shared experiences, we aim to create a space where the living and the memories of the departed intertwine, fostering a sense of connection and healing.

Together, we will shine light into the darker corners of life, where death awaits us all. It’s a special evening to celebrate and remember the presence of those who have passed and the moments they shared with us during their lives. 



Music Ashram will surround the gathering with mysticism and mist as we celebrate Totenpicknick through a magnificent show.


Expect performances and music that bring the spirits of the dead to life.New songs and tales, filled with sadness and joy, darkness and light, will guide us together through this magical night.



If you are attending, bring photos, drawings, and pictures of deceased loved ones whose stories and memories are important to you and which you are willing to share — you can take these with you again at the end of the picnic. Please also bring candles, flowers, and anything important to you.

Together with all the guests, we will use the pictures and objects you bring to decorate a beautiful, festive altar of memories. We will eat and drink in memory of the dead and light up the premises.

For the picnic for the dead, bring your own feast with food you love and enjoy sharing. What you wear is up to you. Costumes and makeup are welcome, but it is rather important that you wear warm clothing and sturdy shoes with thick socks. You will be really cozy if you also bring blankets and warm furs.
