From 1998 to 2006, she won the "Jugend jazzt" and "Jugend musiziert" competitions at state level several times. From 2006 to 2009 she was a member of the Landesjugendjazzorchester NRW. Tours with the big band have taken her to South East Asia, Malta, Israel and Estonia. Later she was also a pianist in the national jazz orchestra (Bujazzo). From 2009 to 2013, she studied piano at the Jazz Institute Berlin with Hubert Nuss, David Friedman and Greg Cohen, among others. She completed her subsequent master's degree in composition at the Hamburg University of Music and Drama in May 2017 with the CD recording of a program composed especially for the NDR Big Band at the Liebermann Studio Hamburg.

Trio or quartet? Both are possible with Accordion Affairs: Jörg Siebenhaar (accordion & piano), Konstantin Wienstroer (bass) and Peter Baumgärtner (drums). Siebenhaar's synchronized operation of accordion and piano creates a particularly unique sound, which considerably expands the possibilities of arrangement and improvisation. Accordion and piano become one! The trio captivates with its extraordinary dynamics, from almost breathy to highly voluminous sounds, expressive or ultra-cool. Stylistically open, the program ranges from world music of various cultures to original compositions and interpretations of pieces by the great accordionist Richard Galliano, the Beatles or the guitarist John Scofield.
