33. Open Mike – Wettbewerbstag

In the organizer's words:

Twelve finalists will read their texts throughout the day in the domed hall of silent green. Come along, succumb to the Open Mike fever, be intoxicated by prose and poetry and be there live at the award ceremony at the end!

From over 600 entries, four texts have been nominated for poetry and eight texts for prose:

For poetry:
Anastasia Averkova, Julia Blöcher, Dominik Kohl, Nea Schmidt

For prose:
Hannah Beckmann, Lilli Biller, Minda Deol, Amelie Hermann, Tabea Kroll, Emma Martschinke, Cornelius Müller, Lea Marie Rauser

Everyone has 15 minutes to convince the audience and jury. The jury - Yevgeniy Breyger, Jackie Thomae and Dana Vowinckel - will then select two winners and award a total of €5,000 in prize money. In addition, the taz audience jury will award a winning text that will be published in the taz.
