Experience a multifaceted colloquium on the Portuguese-speaking cultures of Africa: an open event for anyone who is curious about the stories and voices from Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique and São Tomé e Príncipe.
To mark 50 years of independence for these countries, international guests are invited to exciting lectures, talks, readings and book, film and photo presentations. Together, questions of identity, challenges of the civil wars as well as historical, political and artistic-literary topics of the complex decolonization process will be addressed from a cultural studies perspective.
