9. SKM Community Ausstellung

In the organizer's words:

The exhibition Inner Landscapes brings together seven outstanding positions of young painting from the German art academy landscape. The focus is on the question of what happens when the view outwards becomes a view inwards.

From expressive nature scenes in unnatural color palettes to the quiet architecture of deserted spaces and the raw energy of urban neighborhoods - reality is not depicted here, but transformed. Each motif undergoes a process of transformation in which observation and imagination flow into one another.

Each work is an inner landscape: a place where the visible and the perceived merge inseparably.

Take the opportunity to meet the artists in person at the SKM Gallery on the opening evening. Find out first-hand about the stories behind the works and exchange ideas with other art enthusiasts over drinks in a relaxed atmosphere.
