Dieter's guitar case opens and the beautiful, ideal world of German Schlager is heard. Experience a fast-paced, turbulent journey through three exciting decades! The 1950s, 1960s and 1970s had it all: cooking with Vico Torriano, gangster hunts with Edgar Wallace, reconnaissance with Oswald Kolle, on horseback with Winnetou and Old Shatterhand, Ariel Clementine and other clean-cut characters, Robert Lembke's "What am I?", a trip to London with umbrella, charm and bowler hat, and so on.

But it's not just on television that Germans can smell the scent of the big, wide world. Neckermann makes it possible, and the white giant actively supports the housewife. Klementine fiddles with washing machines and Tilly smoothes out every crease with Palmolive dishwashing liquid... The time machine is switched on and we travel from the staid early 1950s to flower power and Twiggy, the bourgeois shocker in a miniskirt!

Germany's 1950s to 1970s seen through colorful glasses! "Dieter alias The Cock" celebrates, stages and interprets the top hits of the German economic miracle years such as Vico Torriani, Peter Hinnen, Danyel Gerard, Gus Backus, Freddy Quinn, Caterina Valente, Bill Ramsey, Billy Mo, Drafi Deutscher, Rex Gildo, Rocco Granata, Conny Froboess, Manuela, Conny Francis and and and....!

And as always, "Dieter alias The Cock" manages to capture the feeling of life at that time with a wink and a good dash of irony.
