German heavy metal titans ACCEPT are back with their highly anticipated new studio album H U M A N O I D, which will be released on April 26, 2024 via Napalm Records ! Humanoid was produced by British metal mastermind Andy Sneap (Judas Priest, Amon Amarth, Testament, Saxon, etc.) at his Backstage Recording Studios Ltd. in Derbyshire, UK, and adds another first-class work to the discography of the band founded in 1976, which is sure to send fans worldwide into ecstasy. H U M A N O I D will be available in many different formats, some of them strictly limited.

H U M A N O I D joins the ranks of absolute genre classics such as Balls To The Wall, Metal Heart, which went platinum in the USA and Canada, and more recent albums such as Blood of the Nations, or the #1 album Blind Rage. To date, ACCEPT have sold over 17 million records worldwide and have regularly placed in the top 10 of the international charts.

The band has never shied away from tackling controversial and topical issues in their songs. H U M A N O I D is of course no exception! Nevertheless, the 17th studio album is not a concept album. It deals with topics such as artificial intelligence and how human dependence on technology could gradually rob us of our individuality. ACCEPT warn against this with their new album and especially the title track. His approach and interpretation of H U M A N O I D shows that singer Mark Tornillo (nicknamed Analog Man) will never be an advocate of the digital age. The track counterbalances the raw emotions, weaknesses and significant rites of passage we encounter along life's journey and the qualities that make us uniquely human: The feeling of discomfort, aging, hurt, disappointment, as well as the final destination for everyone: death.

H U M A N O I D is an electrifying, dynamic and subtly nuanced album with tongue-in-cheek humor, biblical reminiscences (The Reckoning), an ode to ACCEPT fans at concerts, an exciting reinterpretation of the "Frankenstein" story, and includes Straight Up Jack, a drinking song that Bon Scott would surely have enjoyed.
