Acoustic Horizon | Sound intervention

In the organizer's words:

The performance extends the ongoing project Acoustic Horizon by artist Özcan Ertek: a rotating, funnel-shaped loudspeaker that reacts to its acoustic and architectural surroundings.

A site-specific version will be created for the opening of the exhibition Relations in Place at the Bärenzwinger: the funnel will be activated live and enter into a dialog with the location. The work reflects questions about the ambivalence of proximity and distance, body and space, agency and control.
