Agatha Is Dead!

In the organizer's words:

Agatha Is Dead! was formed during the lockdown winter of 2021 and began as a post-punk experiment between longtime friends Lilly and Noah, who made music together in their school days. Their love of Joy Division, The Cure, Molchat Doma and Fontaines D.C. laid the foundation for their dark, haunting sound. With the addition of drummer Joey Ramone Hansen, who brought in grunge and pop-punk elements, and Arthur on bass, the band played their first concerts in 2022 and quickly gained a place in Berlin's underground scene.

This September, the band embarked on their first headlining tour, opening a new chapter in their history. Their concert at Berlin's Privatclub was sold out five months in advance - a clear sign of the growing enthusiasm.

Inspired by The Pretty Reckless, DIIV, Liily and Bloc Party, Agatha Is Dead! have developed a sound that is heavy, hypnotic and deeply emotional. With their debut EP Order due out soon, the band are asserting themselves as part of the next wave of alternative rock - capturing hearts, rocking stages and refusing to go unnoticed.
