AK Galerie präsentiert "ICONIC"

On the occasion of Gallery Weekend, gallery owner Anna Kimmerle of B.O. Galerie Berlin presents British-Maltese photographer Lorenzo Agius and German-American artist Izzy Weissgerber in the historic setting of St. Elisabeth's Church as part of an extraordinary collaboration entitled ICONIC. The exhibition invites visitors to rediscover the boundaries between artistic genres and offers space for a dialog about the creation of images today.

In an era of visual overload, ICONIC aims to evoke genuine emotional resonance in the viewer. Anna Kimmerle describes the core of Agius and Weissgerber's work as "presence" - a moment of pause in which beauty, vulnerability and strength coexist. Both artists share a belief in the power of the image and of art as a carrier of emotional, cultural and psychological meaning.
