When our grandmothers freed themselves from the tight confines of their corsets a hundred years ago, it wasn't just because they could dance the Charleston better without them. A generation later, women washed the dust from their dresses, put on their petticoats and made room for the head of the family again.

Since the 1980s, despite education for all, they have come up against glass ceilings and have finally taken to the streets for Equal Pay Day.

Jutta Seifert takes her audience on a journey through 100 years of women's history with acting miniatures and poetic wordplay, advice literature and satirical chansons.
