Sydney and Berlin-based artist ANT ENOCH writes anthems to cry to on the dancefloor. His melodic bedroom pop combines his love of melancholic 1980s dance ballads with contemporary analog aesthetics.

Driven by isolation during the pandemic, his self-produced debut EP "Big Talk Big Party" from 2024 appeared like a tonic, peppered with classic Japanese drum machines, very personal lyrics and an atmosphere of piano, synthesizers and violin. The record was self-produced in a mattress factory in Bankstown and finished in Berlin in the European fall with Grammy award-winning producer and engineer Julia Borelli (RÜFÜS DU SOL, Hayden James, Monolink) and a tight-knit community of contributors, and released by cult indie label Embassy of Music.

For ENOCH, the DIY spirit was there from the start. "I inherited an old piano and taught myself how to play. Although I still have no idea how to play it properly, it's my favorite instrument to compose on." These early songwriting experiments led him to music colleges in Sydney and Toronto, Canada, where he played in small clubs along Queen Street West and in southern Ontario.

ANT ENOCH now spends his summers between Berlin and Bankstown. His live shows started with headlining gigs in Berlin, Munich and Sydney, a live set at Berlin's legendary Radio Eins and festival appearances at Party in the Paddock.
