For 30 years, AQUABELLA has been the only a cappella ensemble in Germany dedicated entirely to world music.

Four voices, sixteen languages and a wealth of timbres transport you to the winter traditions of many cultures - poetically, powerfully and surprisingly.

With humor, playfulness and scenic wit, the four singers bring songs from all over the world to life: Sometimes a rose blooms in a thorn bush in the middle of winter, sometimes a proud horse fights through the Latvian snow, sometimes a Georgian men's choir awakens from four women's throats.
Always sung in the original language, a polyphonic cosmos unfolds - from polyphonic songs from the Caucasus to Sephardic melodies and Icelandic troll stories.

Accompanied by witty choreography, body percussion and poetic images, the result is a unique a cappella experience that invites you to marvel, laugh and dream in equal measure.
