Art Talks – UNVEIL Fotoausstellung

In the organizer's words:

Join us every Sunday in August at 3 p.m. for special guided tours and talks in the FISCH-Raum Gallery (2nd floor of the street art roof terraces).

Each appointment welcomes a different artist from the UNVEIL exhibition to talk personally about the works, provide insights into the creative process and engage in conversation with visitors.

Dates

August 10 - Ali Tabari
August 24 - Ciana Spelman
August 31 - Kris Rodriguez

Participation is free of charge. The meeting point is directly in the exhibition.

About the exhibition

Hidden attributions. Visible and invisible scars. Individual and social insecurities.

In the Design Project course, Master's students from the Media University Berlin worked with Nora Bibel to explore stigma as a social and visual phenomenon. The result is photographic explorations that address the complexity of identity, demarcation and visibility. Supplementary texts expand the visual narratives and lend the images additional meaning.

The works question attributions, reveal specifics, celebrate peculiarities - and invite us to question certainties.
