Barbaren Barbies: A wild women circus

In the organizer's words:

The Barbarian Barbies combine acrobatics, dance and theater with delightfully shocking silliness. With their love of slipping into a wide range of different characters, they tackle notions of femininity with verve and vigor, taking the mickey out of clichés in a blunt and touchingly playful way. Just imagine the five superheroines as a mixture of Berlin underground cabaret and the Vegas Spice Girls.

The Barbarian Barbies, from Germany, New Zealand, Canada and Finland, are an international circus collective from Berlin. They have been touring Germany and beyond since March 2022 and successfully performed at the Edinburgh FRINGE Festival in Scotland in August 2024.
