On September 4, BAUBAU will be one year old - we will celebrate with music, free play and surprises. We look forward to seeing you!

Exactly one year ago, our free play space for children opened its doors on the first floor of the Gropius Bau. Since then, thousands of children have played freely here and designed the space according to their needs and ideas. Together with you, we would now like to celebrate BAUBAU's first birthday and all the wonderful moments and memories.

Visitors are welcome throughout the day - registration is not necessary. Look forward to a children's disco with music by Nzambisa, fun children's tattoos and a little surprise for everyone who has a birthday on this day.

We have developed BAUBAU for children. Too many adults can change the atmosphere of the room. Please note: As soon as the room reaches its full capacity, there may be short waiting times. Accompanying adults are responsible for supervising their children. Thank you for your understanding!

Nzambisa is an up-and-coming vinyl DJ from Berlin with Congolese roots. Her sets are characterized by influences from the African music landscape and the global diaspora. Sometimes driving, sometimes experimental, Nzambisa moves fluidly between genres and invites you on a musical journey together.
