When we rolled out the carpets for the first time in 2015, we had no idea what effect this small, bold experiment would have. Nobody knew whether such a decelerated, cozy concept could even work in a club - Sunday evenings, barefoot or socked-in, downtempo instead of pressure, carpeting instead of concrete.

Today we know: It works. And how.
What's more - it lives, grows and connects.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate 10 years together with you at this Beate Barefoot Edition. What once began as an idea has become a fixed ritual over the years: a space to arrive, dive in and be together. The oldest - and yes, the first - carpet dance of its kind.

Musically, the Barefoot series has left a lasting mark on the downtempo scene with its consistency and dedication. Over the years, we have seen Beate Uwe become a place that stands for downtempo music far beyond Berlin - throughout Germany and even Europe. A home for deep grooves, warm sounds and open hearts.

This anniversary is above all a thank you to the people who have shaped and formed this place for over a decade:
