◁◁◁◁ from 22:00 ▷▷▷
Born at the MIT DIR Festival 2021, the FLINTA* collective FEMQUENCY is committed to more diversity in club culture. We organize DJ workshops by and for FLINTA* people, in which we teach the basics of DJing in a loving and empowering atmosphere - under the motto: Making mistakes is welcome. After the workshop, participants have the chance to put what they have learned into practice during a guided DJing session.
Our mission as a collective is to create safe spaces in which FLINTA* people can try out their skills and thus contribute to greater participation and visibility of FLINTA* people in the club and festival scene. We want to create spaces in which there is plenty of room for empowerment and mutual support, so that a sense of security and self-confidence instead of self-doubt is created. For us, this also includes making the dancefloor a safe place for FLINTA* and facilitating access to areas such as stage management, awareness and technology. In addition to workshops, FEMQUENCY therefore also offers a variety of opportunities to network and support each other so that we can come closer to our ideas of an equal club and festival scene.
▷▷▷ PROGRAM ◁◁◁◁
- Laura Sí -
With a passion that ranges from downtempo to peak-time techno, Laura Sí combines emotional depth with energetic beats. Her sets are an interplay of euphoria and concentration, bliss and tension - characterized by favorite sounds, driving rhythms and fine transitions. Music that moves, inspires and radiates pure joie de vivre.
- Katzengold -
Katzengold - the Berlin-born DJ and producer Isi - felt at home in the capital's clubs early on. She joined the Kom.Bass collective in 2017 and found her own sound there. Her sets tell stories - with dreamy melodies and driving rhythms, which she unites under the style term "Dreamer Techno". She has been part of 3000Grad Records since 2021 and also founded "Femquency", a safe space for FLINTA*:innen in the scene.
- Lamara -
Lamara creates a warm, organic soundscape that moves fluidly between downtempo, smooth house and melodic textures. Her sets thrive on deep grooves and atmospheric moments that leave room for feeling and movement. A sound that invites you to let go, trust and simply dance.
