Ben Sands - singer-songwriter with guitar and mandolin - lives in the north of Ireland. He usually writes his own songs in the tradition of Irish folklore. The lyrics are sometimes teasing, sometimes sad and often very humorous. He also tells stories on stage in the wonderful way that only the Irish can. The focus is on his life as a traveling musician, but it is also about the everyday things that have shaped him. Time and again, he creates a very personal, almost intimate atmosphere between himself and the audience. "Close your eyes and dream!" is his motto. Words can hardly describe the magic this troubadour unfolds with his programs. Get involved with this great artist and enjoy a unique evening.
