BERLIN GLOBAL meets Anissa Loucif und DJ sherryaeri

In the organizer's words:

As an anesthesiologist, Anissa Loucif knows how to put people to sleep. With her stand-up comedy, she proves the opposite: in her first solo program, she tells pointed and self-deprecating stories about life as a Muslim woman, doctor and mother - stories that only Berlin can write.

The Berlin newcomer brings her best acerbic punchlines with her - and a large portion of self-irony.

From fall 2025, Anissa Loucif will be touring Germany, Switzerland and Austria with her first solo program MACH NICHT SO AUF TEUER - and will be making a stop at BERLIN GLOBAL for you. She will be presenting exclusive excerpts from her program in the Berlin exhibition at the Humboldt Forum.

Afterwards, DJ sherryaeri will provide cross-genre beats and a dance atmosphere: from rap edits, Jersey Club and Baile Funk to Electro Chaabi - a set that is guaranteed to get you moving.

Please note: During the comedy show, there is a free choice of seats. The DJ set is standing room only.

Anissa Loucif

Anissa Loucif is a comedian and anesthesiologist from Berlin. Her name could be in the dictionary next to the term "nothing half and nothing whole": half Algerian, half German. Part doctor, part comedienne.

Growing up with Muslim parents and Christian grandparents, between Eid, Christmas and nudism, she has first-hand experience of cultural confusion. To pull your hair out? Not for her. With a headscarf and a big dose of humor, she defies the chaos - and turns it into a stage.

Anissa Loucif was a finalist in the 2023 NightWash Talent Awards and her first stand-up videos went viral. In 2024, she wowed 14,000 spectators on the big arena stage at the 1LIVE COMEDY-NACHT XXL and was part of the female stand-up special of the Carolin Kebekus Show on ARD. In January 2025, a detailed interview appeared in Stern magazine.

In addition to regular appearances at the Downstairs Comedy Club, NightWash, Falsch, aber lustig and the LUCKY PUNCH Club, Anissa Loucif will be going on tour with her first solo program MACH NICHT SO AUF TEUER from autumn 2025.

DJ sherryaeri

sherryaeri sees music and partying as highly political and tries to present artists and genres that don't get as much space as they should and mixes them with Arabic sounds. Sherryaeri therefore places itself in the "genrefluid" category and takes us through various genres, to name but a few: Rap Edits, Jersey Club, Baile Funk and Electro Chaabi. In doing so, sherryaeri manages to give us a sense of belonging and celebrate our multidimensional realities. As a result, sherryaeri has already enchanted crowds internationally at festivals such as Splash in Germany, clubs such as Yu Yu in Mexico City and renowned events such as Boiler Room. One thing is clear: sherryaeri's sounds are always for booty shaking, relieving stress and letting go of the pressures of capitalist, patriarchal white supremacy.
