The big New Year's party

They also call themselves the foreign legion of the Munich Philharmonic. Eleven brass players and a percussionist from six different countries - all of them thoroughbred musicians of the highest caliber - make up this "brassy dozen". Under the direction of the lively Scotsman Bob Ross, Munich's cult ensemble Blechschaden presents jazz and classical, elite and popular, show and playing culture with its usual brilliance at the turn of the year - and celebrates its premiere in our theater hall. Don't forget your handkerchiefs, because as well as being thrilled by the musical virtuosity of this group, you will also laugh yourself to tears.
