Bochum Urban-Hike

The Bochum Urban Hike is entering its second round and is once again transforming the city into a stage for a very special hiking experience in the heart of the Ruhr region. Participants do not simply hike around the entire city, but walk from experience to experience.

Participants can choose between two routes: 12 kilometers or 25 kilometers. Depending on how fit you are, how long you want to walk or whether you are walking alone, with friends or with your family. The Bochum Urban Hike offers the right route for everyone. And along the way, you can discover the city from a perspective that many have never experienced before.

The hike starts in waves from 9:00 am at a centrally located hike base in Bochum. From here, the varied route leads through the city center as well as into greener areas of the city, showing just how versatile urban hikes can be.

Along the way, participants will discover special cultural, sporting and natural sites that allow them to experience Bochum step by step. The aim is not to achieve the best time, but to exercise, exchange ideas and share the experience together with the Urban-Series community. The Bochum Urban-Hike stands for 12 or 25 kilometers full of movement, encounters and urban discoveries.

The price levels are valid until the date stated on the website or as long as the respective ticket contingent is available. As soon as 500 starting places in a price level have been allocated, the next price level opens automatically, regardless of the time period. Note The prices stated apply to adults. Children under the age of 6 take part free of charge. Further discounts for trainees, students, pupils or children up to the age of 12 will be displayed during the registration process.
