Recklinghausen Urban-Run

After a successful urban hike last year, the Recklinghausen Urban Run is now celebrating its premiere. It transforms the city into an extraordinary stage for a special kind of urban running event.

On a route of around 10 kilometers, participants take a look behind the scenes and discover places previously unknown to them. The run starts in waves from 9:00 am at the Run-Base at the Ruhrfestspielhaus. From here, the varied route leads across the city and to special places that make Recklinghausen a running experience. The focus is not on achieving the best time, but on experiencing the city together. Together with the Urban Series community.

Numerous special places await participants along the route. These include the Kunsthalle Recklinghausen art gallery, a passage through the town hall and other cultural, urban and gastronomic stops that will allow you to experience Recklinghausen from a new perspective.

The Recklinghausen Urban Run stands for 10 kilometers full of energy, community and urban highlights. A running event that focuses on the experience.

From 01.06.2026: Late registration fee of + € 03.00 *The different price levels are valid until the date stated on the website, or as long as the respective ticket contingent is available. As soon as 500 starting places in a price level have been allocated, the next price level opens automatically, regardless of the time period. Note The prices stated apply to adults. Children under the age of 6 take part free of charge. Further discounts for trainees, students, pupils or children up to the age of 12 will be displayed during the registration process.
